What does "free through the Pre-Season" include?
Full access to The Stadium FC through the Pre-Season — live stadiums, COACH, chat, and your Fanatar. No charge until Season 1 begins, and you can cancel anytime.
What happens after the Pre-Season?
When our first season begins after the Super Bowl, Founding Fans continue at $25/year — a rate locked for life, against a $60 standard annual price. We'll always remind you before anything renews. Zero ads, forever.
Does the Founding Fan price ever go up?
No. $25 a year, for life — less than half the $60 standard annual price. The price never rises, and the promise survives any change to our standard pricing, our terms, or our ownership. It's a commitment in our Terms of Service.
When does the Founding Fan tier close?
It closes when it fills at 250,000 — and never reopens. Reserving now holds your place.
Do I have to pay today?
No. The Pre-Season is free for everyone. Founding Fan pricing only begins when our first season starts, after the Super Bowl.
How does billing work?
Annual memberships — Founding Fan and Standard alike — are collected once a year, on the anniversary of the day you joined. The monthly plan is collected monthly. Cancel any month, either way, and you're charged nothing further.
Why is the annual plan charged once a year now?
Because twelve small charges cost far more to process than one. On a $25 membership, twelve card charges cost about $4.32 in processing fees against $1.03 for a single charge. That difference goes to payment processors, not to The Stadium. Charging once a year keeps it where it belongs — and you can still cancel any month, and we refund what you haven't used.
What happens if I cancel half-way through the year?
We refund the months you haven't used. No forms, no phone call. Most subscriptions keep your money and let access run out; we don't think that's ours to keep.
Is the monthly plan more expensive?
Yes — $6 a month is $72 a year against $60 for the annual plan, so annual saves 17%. Monthly exists because some fans prefer it, and we'd rather offer it than pretend it doesn't suit anyone.
What if I cancel and come back?
Your Founding Fan price and badge are restored whenever you come back. There's no window and no deadline. Leave for a month or leave for five years — you return to $25 a year, for life. The Founding tier is capped at 250,000 and never reopens, so your place isn't given to anyone else while you're away. It's still yours.
Is there a free plan after Season 1?
Yes — one Stadium of your choice free forever, plus 25 COACH messages per month. No time limit, no trial. And anyone can earn membership: refer 3 fans who join, get a month free. Following more teams and sports is what membership is for.
